Victor Hipsley

In addition to his work with political relations firm Governmental Policy Group, Inc. (GPG), in Columbus, Ohio, Victor Hipsley actively participates in a number of community- and charity-based activities. Committed to health awareness, Mr. Hipsley belongs to organizations such as the Hearts over Clubs Foundation. Acting as Chairman, Victor Hipsley oversees this nonprofit group dedicated to assisting families affected by heart illness.
Using his extensive knowledge of policymaking, Victor Hipsley assists GPG’s clients in a number of lobbying pursuits concerning issues such as health care, taxation, telecommunications, and budget legislation. With a background from Ohio State University in political science and communications, Mr. Hipsley took on a number of positions within the General Assembly of the State of Ohio. He acted as Aide for the then-President of the Ohio Senate and as Chief Aide for the Chairman of the Ohio House Ways and Means Committee. He also served on the State of Ohio Joint Legislative Computer Technology Committee.
Understanding the minutiae of public policy development affords Victor Hipsley particular insight into the importance of community and public service endeavors. Mr. Hipsley has participated in a number of community service efforts through St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, in Powell, Ohio. Additionally, he has held membership with the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and several charitable organizations such as the Columbus Italian Club (CIC), where he served as the Chairman of the Education and Scholarship Committee. Victor Hipsley also functioned as the President on the Board of Directors for the Educational Assistance Corporation, which raises funds for high school students going on to higher education opportunities.
With his local community never far from his mind, he also participates in civic activities in and around the Columbus and Worthington Ohio area.
