I am originally from San Jose, CA, but fell in love with La Jolla after graduating from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Physiology & Neuroscience and a minor in Linguistics. I currently work in the LMS industry with medical device professionals, and I coordinate educational events for orthopedic surgeons in both the U.S. and Europe.

To balance out my professional life, I play traditional Japanese drums with San Diego's Naruwan Taiko and take courses on random languages. My other hobbies include reading too many books at once (favorite authors: Neil Gaiman, Diana Wynne Jones, Neal Stephenson, & Tana French), writing in my journal, and playing with other people's pets.
