Social Media Manager, Digital Marketer, and Content Curator in New York

Who would’ve thought that a Psychology degree was the perfect way to start a career in Digital | Social Marketing?

Identifying the trend early on that online interaction would whittle down to basic tenets of human behavior, I knew I needed to understand psychological concepts and taught myself the mechanics of web design / development, video production, content creation and social media engagement.

Using what I’ve learned, I revitalized a struggling email marketing campaign for a print product that in 1 year increased membership from 80K to 190K and boosted open rates from 5% to 15%. I implemented a social marketing plan that skyrocketed participation across all platforms by over 6,000% (not a typo) in 2 years and engagement regularly reaches over 20 Million weekly for a local heritage radio brand. Growth hacking at its finest!

During my career, I’ve held every role from content aggregator and social media coordinator to online video series producer and analytics research lead. I can develop the talent needed for every position that activates a digital department with agility, ensuring everything they do has the company’s mission at its heart.

My prized superpower is my ability to find many solutions to a problem. I’m keen on looking at issues from multiple vantage points to determine, within our resources, how to make it work. At my core, I’m a nerd. I love comic books and watching “How It's Made” marathons. My eclectic tastes have helped me to connect with a wide range of people in the workplace and while fostering 3rd party liaisons.

In recognition of my work, I was inducted into the 2014 class of The Network Journal’s 40 Under Forty for excellence in business. I’ve spoken on many digital marketing panels including The New York State Broadcasters Association’s Digital Leadership Academy and spearheading the Use of Social Media for Fundraising Panel to the great teams at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
