Victoria Morrison

I am currently a student at the University of Oklahoma's M.B.A. program. I will graduate May of 2018 with a dual M.B.A. and Master of Management Information Technology. I previously graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 with a B.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering. I was actively involved on campus and enjoy the opportunities I have had at OU. During the Summer of 2016, I interned with Sabre, a travel technology company as a Business Operations & Planning Intern. While at Sabre I accomplished several process and operations projects and further developed my VBA, Excel, and overall programming knowledge. During the Summer of 2015, I interned with AT&T as a Business Manager in Downtown Dallas where I was an internal information technology consultant for the Executive Director of technology. I analyzed, mapped, and assessed the risks involved in an existing process within AT&T. I then recommended feasible continuous improvement strategies and techniques for the company to implement based on my findings. I look forward to completing my M.B.A. with a focus in Finance. I am open to challenges and believe that challenges are what make a person who they are today. Personal growth can only happen from my experiences, and to gain experience I have to step out of my comfort zone. There are many opportunities that lie in front of me and I cannot wait to grow both professionally and personally. After graduating with my M.B.A., I will enter the job market seeking a management position in operations and strategy development in the technology industry or a consulting firm. Both of these career paths pique my interest and I am certain that having the technical background of engineering in addition to an M.B.A. will increase my ability to obtain a career in my area of interest.
