Victoria Ramadi
Philanthropist and Retired Teacher in Belgium
Victoria Ramadi is a retired teacher. But despite entering retirement, Ramadi’s energy and enthusiasm for education has not dissipated one bit! Now, she continues to promote the power of knowledge by supporting various educational nonprofits and charitable organizations.
This former teacher still considers herself an educator. Deeply ingrained in her identity, education is a major part of who Victoria Ramadi is at her core. That’s why she supports the courageous efforts of nonprofits and charities that encourage educational programs for disadvantaged individuals. In particular, Ramadi supports Victoria Foundation and ProLiteracy.
While the large majority of education-based charities often cater to the needs of youths, Victoria Ramadi is particularly inspired by the vision of ProLiteracy. ProLiteracy is an organization that focuses its energy of empowerment on adults in need of assistance in pursuing their passions. This is accomplished through the development of programs which help these individuals strengthen and improve their literacy abilities. This offers disadvantaged adults opportunities to better their lives and living situations by becoming better adjusted to the job market. In the future, Ramadi hopes that she can volunteer directly with ProLiteracy. For now, she is a proud supporter of the organization’s incredible efforts to empower disadvantaged adults across the country.
