I am a freelance writer who is normally on the move to find another important story that needs to be told.

For the past eights years I have lived between the Middle East and Subsaharan Africa, reporting on issues like human rights and migration, land deals and their impacts on communities and the environment, women's rights, and sometimes just people's stories that I think will help us understand the world better and connect people.

My work has been published in international media like AlJazeera, The Guardian, Zeit online, GEO, the new Arab, Deutsche Welle and other outlets.

I speak German, English, French and Arabic.

I studied Sports Science at the German Sports University in Cologne with semesters abroad in Melbourne and Bordeaux, and did a 2 year traineeship at Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger in Germany.
