First twenty one year of my life I lived in Russia, and now I live, work, raise my family and enjoy life in Canada. Graduate from four different universities, I've been working as an academic librarian since 2005. My current work interests include everything about scholarly communications and the open access to research movement.
At home I am a wife and a mother of five beautiful kids (including a pair of sweet boy/girl twins). I love to read, to cook and bake (fortunately! as I have to constantly feed my jolly bunch of growing kids and a big hungry man), to spend time outdoors, to take my kids to the local public library, to write on my blog (a recent, but very enjoyable discovery), to learn about all things healthy, natural and organic, to take pictures and hopefully to organize them one day, to watch family movies at home when it's cold and raining outside...
