I've been doing research and teaching fitness, nutrition, and weight control for 45 yrs. My degrees are from Cal State Univ- Northridge and Cal- Berkeley. I am professor of Movement Science in Kinesiology and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Univ of Michigan. I was UMs first women's basketball coach. I am co-author of 3 college-level textbooks on exercise physiology and nutrition and published 150+ research papers. I enjoy year-round exercise: walking, jogging and playing golf whenever possible.
