Victor Labi

Bilingual in English and Hebrew, Victor Labi resides in New York City and enjoys travel, golf, and skiing.

A private equity professional, Victor Labi works to finance small capitalization companies in the natural resources sector. Most recently, Mr. Labi established the physical commodities division of the New York-based Ubequity Capital Partners Inc., where he oversees the company’s global commodities business. In his role as Senior Managing Director, Mr. Labi strives to expand the company’s commodities operation to include interests in global mineral mine production and oil field sites.

Since joining his present employer as a Managing Director in 2010, Mr. Labi has developed partnerships with many of the largest commodity trading companies worldwide. He has successfully transacted with leaders in global resources, including Brazilian sugar and soybean mill operations, oil and gas producers and refineries in the Asian, Russian, and Middle Eastern markets, and Fortune 500 companies. In less than a year, Mr. Labi increased his company’s Resource Group revenue by more than 100 percent.

After completing his education, Victor Labi worked on Wall Street, representing a range of firms as a Broker and Trader while managing accounts totaling more than half a billion dollars. During the early part of his career, Mr. Labi focused his attention on funding and increasing the profitability of companies with less than $100 million in revenue. Throughout his professional life, Mr. Labi has served as an adviser to many natural resource firms, and successfully generated growth capital in the hundreds of millions of dollars for these companies.
