Victor is an independent legal specialist interested in policies and laws that support digital transformation in Africa. Currently he is advising the Government of the Republic of Kenya on formulation and implementation of a digital economy blueprint for the year 2030.
Victor is licensed to practice law and is currently a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society. He has worked at World Intellectual Property Organization, Kenya Copyright Board, Music Copyright Society of Kenya, M-KOPA Solar, the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law at Strathmore University, the National Communications Secretariat in the Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology, Republic of Kenya and the Copyright Tribunal in the Judiciary of Kenya.
Victor is a PhD candidate at University of Cape Town. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from University of South Africa and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from University of Nairobi. He is fluent in both French and English having lived in over eight countries across Africa, Europe and North America.
