Victor Rijkaart

Born in a warm family in the green heart of the Netherlands, I was able to benefit from changes to learn and study. The road to the sky I saw blocked by sheer numbers, I revamped myself to academics, at least for 6 years. Aerospace Engineering swept me away, not as much into research and detailsm but rather into analyses, cross-connections and "the bigger picture". Working in a truly international environment brought me broad experience and great learning. In the aviation industry I’ve worked on cost improvement, executive management assistance and in line management. By working in management consultancy, change management and process improvement I have explored my interest in continuous improvement, finding that people are the true power in any organisation. Following a challenging role being operationally responsible of a production company, I continue my career in the heart of European Aerospace Industry, managing Innovation and facilitating strategic change.

I actively develop my career by taking on new challenges. I am a highly motivated inspirator with a proven track record of achievements in line management and projects. I have strong analytical competences and people skills. In my authentic leadership I combine giving direction with bringing coherence of departments with company objectives. While energising people, I aim to bring out the best of all involved. Personal Interests: Outdoor sports, travel, history, music, reading, personal development, driving and restoring classic cars.
