A resident of Lubbock, TX, Victor Roden possesses more than a decade of experience as an engineer. After earning a BS in civil engineering from Texas Tech University, he began his career as a project engineer at Utility Engineering, where he devised structural and storm water drainage components for power plants, particularly for those in California’s high-risk seismic zones. Subsequently, Victor Roden served as a project manager at the Texas Department of Transportation, where he helped develop construction plans; performed inspections; and supervised the construction of numerous state highways, including the 23-mile long Texas State Highway 33.

Victor E. Roden then expanded his project management and leadership skills during his six-year tenure at Hugo Reed & Associates, Inc., where he conducted engineering design and sealing of plans and specifications, carried out feasibility studies, coordinated surveying and construction activities, prepared contracts and bid documents, and liaised with clients and government officials. In 2011, Mr. Roden established West Texas Engineering, LLC, in Lubbock, TX. His firm provides civil engineering and surveying services for a broad range of land development projects in Texas and New Mexico and serves a number of the region’s leading developers and architects.
