Victory Ochuwa Omuera is a Dentistry and Dental Surgery student at the Prestigious University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria.

She has a track record of excellent leadership skills and providing innovative solution to solving societal problems in areas she holds dear to her heart.

At the age of 13, she was a two-time award winner of the Kenneth Imansuangbon National Essay Competition, bagging her first award at the age of 12 as a first prize winner, junior category – arising top among participants from various public and private schools in Edo State, Nigeria, to receive an award and cash prize in presence of dignitaries from political and private sector at the Transcorp Hilton International Conference hall, Abuja.

The next year, she emerged second prize winner in the senior category for writing on the topic ‘securing Nigeria – our collective responsibility’. She moved further to win international essay contests such as being top 10 in the 2019 International Atomic Energy Association(IAEA) essay contest on Nuclear Security.

Victory has utilized her writing and leadership skills to launch the Seven Coloured Butterfly website – an online personal development and capacity building website and blog for young persons to access resources, opportunities and also sign up for skills training and mentorship.

She made a remarkable achievement in June 2020, when she founded All-RoundHER – a virtual platform for females to learn, network and grow together beginning yearly with the Feminine meet-up and discussion series on key areas such as leadership, entrepreneurship, health and personal growth as it pertains to female involvement. The All-RoundHER platform currently has a diverse community of female particpants from 8 countries across Africa and Asia and its vision is to build a world of independent, self-reliant females with the ability to make better informed decisions that contribute to personal and societal developement - breaking the age-long limiting notion of females and eradicating knowledge-based traditional barriers to female advancement.

Victory is a fellow/ alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) West Africa Regional Leadership Centre and a student fellow of the Sustainable Development Goals Act Edo State –helping to champion the cause of the SDGs in Nigeria.

When she’s not conceiving and implementing ideas to change the world, she is involved in art and DIY crafts, watching pageant videos online or reading a self-help book.
