I am a student currently doing an HND in Specialist Hair and Makeup at West Thames College. I left an administration job I'd had for seven years in September 2014 to finally pursue something I have always wanted to do. So far I am absolutely loving it and it is the best thing I could have done! I am learning from industry professionals, so am getting first hand knowledge of what it is really like to be a hair and make up artist. This blog will chart my journey in the Current Trends in Hair and Makeup element of the course.
