I am a journalist and proud Californian with several years of experience as a reporter, editor, intern and freelancer. I graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in May 2013 and am a reporter at Sports Illustrated Kids.

I fact-check for SI Kids and have also had work appear on the magazine's website, including my coverage of the 2013 NBA Draft.

I also contribute NFL content for Sports Illustrated and SI.com

I was an assistant sports editor of the Daily Bruin, UCLA's student newspaper, and interned at the Sports department of the Santa Cruz Sentinel after graduating.

As a freelancer I regularly covered high school football for the Sentinel and the San Mateo County Times. I then worked as a staff writer and newsroom assistant for the Sentinel, and shot and edited a video update story on Dwight Lowery, a Santa Cruz-native NFL player.

At Columbia, I reported on the Highbridge section of the Bronx and covered a wide range of stories, from the goings-on at Yankee Stadium to Poe Cottage, the little-known Bronx monument where legendary poet Edgar Allan Poe once lived. Check out some of my audio work on my Soundcloud page. I also took classes in HTML and Data Journalism and am currently working on two long form football pieces.

I am a native of Fremont, CA, and a lover of books, sports, books about sports, music and food.

P.S.: I will do the UCLA 8-clap anywhere without shame.
