Founded in 2015, the Vienna Boys Choir Music Academy Foundation (VBCMAF) is now a government registered charitable institution based in Hong Kong. Steeped in the UNESCO-awarded tradition of the Vienna Boys Choir in Austria, VBCMAF carries this inspirational affiliation through to the modern-day Hong Kong with an endeavour to give back to society in four areas:

A, Arts and Culture - developing unique choral arts and culture in Hong Kong;

B, Education - providing choral and music education to schools and individuals;

C, Economy - co-creating with creative talents to enrich cross-industries ecosystem;

D, Music Humanities - achieving philanthropic aims through music for the public.

Under the auspices of the public, the Foundation’s mission is to help individuals find their purposes of life and attain wellbeing for the betterment of society through music.

VBCMAF conducts community programmes through out the year and hold the Hong Kong - Vienna Music Festival yearly during the summer season, to froster cultural exchanges in-between Vienna and Hong Kong. The Hong Kong - Vienna Music Festival started in 2016, consists of various programmes, including: cultural activities, community workshops, forums, online interactions, children music camp, concerts, etc. involving artists from all over the world, including but not limited to Hong Kong, Austria, United States, South America and various part of Europe.
