My name is Quinn and I run an instagram page: @viewsbyquinn where I share views ranging from movies, music, books, and media in general. What initially started as strictly a film reviewing account (and remains primarily as such) and a happy participant in the “Filmstagram” community, my interests and aspirations go far beyond that.

I have a deep passion for self-development and improvement; consistently sharing those ideals to my stories and am actively thinking of more ways to implement that fully into my account. I believe everyone always has the potential to be better and we should welcome hardships and suffering into our lives (which are unfortunately inevitable) instead of shying away from them or allowing them to weaken us.

I also have a deep interests in health, fitness, writing, creating, music, and of course film as I mentioned. I also keep up avidly with news and politics despite not discussing it too much online. Maybe I will more in the future though. I'm also a very aesthetic-driven person, I gravitate towards things like that, maybe I would've been a graphic designer in another life. Who knows, maybe that's still on my horizon. That or being a writer… Which is another dream goal of mine.

I can be an opinionated person but never seek out disputes when it comes to other opinions I see online, whether it be in the arts and entertainment or politically/philosophically. Most things in this life are much more subjective than we realize and I've been waking myself up to that fact with each opportunity I can.

I believe in being as open-minded as possible, questioning everything and trying not to take everything at face-value… There's much grey-area in this world, not everything is black-and-white, right or wrong; yet in the unfortunately divided and tribal climate we find ourselves in today, there is little room for true/civil/thoughtful discourse, especially when it comes to politics or anything with differing opinions. I don't believe in adhering strictly to an ideology (or at least making it your entire identity and touchstone for all of your views), and I despise echo chambers, identity-politics, etc…

I'm strictly independent but if I had to classify myself I think I align with Libertarianism most closely. But I take everything on a case-by-case basis, and choose to research before jumping to conclusions, and most importantly am open to changing my mind if further thought and data proves me wrong…
