Brief Career Introduction – Vigyan S. Arya

I am a media professional with over 25 years of international experience spanning television, print, radio, and digital platforms. My journey in journalism began in Dubai, where I rose from a reporter to become Editor-in-Chief of Emirates Today / Emirates Business 24/7, and later led content for DMTV, a 24/7 lifestyle channel in the MENA region.

I have had the privilege of launching and editing more than 15 national and international publications including Tabloid of Gulf News, Entertainment Plus (the region’s only TV guide), and in-flight magazines for Air Arabia and RAK Airways. I’ve also led content for corporate publications like Capital Talk and Centre Stage, and worked as a PR strategist for leading brands across the Middle East.

Currently, I’m involved as a communication director at the Science and Technology Park in Pune, consulting for AI-based tech startups, and mentoring the next generation of storytellers as a visiting faculty in digital journalism and mass communication.

From covering the Gulf War to producing content that’s reached millions, my professional path is rooted in curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to truth. I hope to share not just milestones, but the mind-set that helped me reach them—with all the bright minds here today.

  • Consultant as marketing strategist for Dreamz Technology for AI projects with international potential of mass appeal. Business Development role for liaison with Arabian Gulf Countries.

  • Member of the Board of Directors of Jagran Communication, with responsibility for initiating new businesses and content creation.
  • Visiting faculty member at some of the leading educational institutes teaching Mass Communication and Digital Journalism
  • MD at Indus Inc. for grooming & mentoring AI-based startups with grass-root appeals and mass reach beyond borders.
