Vikas Gupta is a recognized thought leader in the publishing, learning and knowledge industry. In his career of over 2 decades, Vikas has led many innovative products and business models in the space of technology-driven learning solutions, research and faculty development, skill development and professional certifications.

As an entrepreneur, Vikas co-founded and led ventures in the fields of IT and Publishing. He is an ardent promoter of the spirit of entrepreneurship and encourages students as well as professionals to strive towards perseverance coupled with innovative thinking.

He has authored/co-authored 15 books till date, and his books in the field of IT has sold over two million copies globally.

Currently, he is the Managing Director of Wiley India and is the Former President of the Association of Publishers in India (API). He is also the promoter-member of the Education Promotion Society of India (EPSI).

Vikas holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and an Executive MBA from ISB in association with Kellogg School of Management the Wharton Business School and Fundação Dom Cabral, Brazil. He also holds a PG Diploma in Printing and Publishing from London.

Vikas regularly writes for national Publications like Times of India, Business World, India Today, Deccan Herald, and trade publications like Higher education Review. He is often quoted in articles and stories related to Ed tech, learning, knowledge, skilling etc in publications like Deccan Chronicle, Ed Tech Review, Caclubindia, Indian Wireetc.

He regularly shares his opinions and views on his personal blog and his YouTube Channel. He is a regular speaker at Industry events and has given keynote sessions at events such as the AAS in Asia 2018, CEO Conclave by Business World, 4th Business Analytics Conclave, IPA Congress 2018, ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival 2018 and CEO Speak over Chairman’s Breakfast 2018 and Wiley Global Innovation Conclave 2019.
