Born and raised in Amritsar, India. Since the beginning, I was passionate about computers and in my childhood, I always loved solving those tiny little problems using the BASIC programming language which has now been replaced with a passion for solving problems involving large-scale distributed systems demanding high performance.

On a personal front, people who know me, think of me as considerate and very practical. I want just the facts - keep it plain and simple. There is far more sustainability in simplicity than in flamboyancy. I tend not to talk a lot, but when I do people listen because when I say something it has meaning.

Besides my love for the job, I enjoy traveling to new places and trying out local and international cuisines. And during my leisure time, I like to catch up on a good movie and an interesting read on technology, finance and yes, philosophy.
