Viktor AX

He grew up with two parents and one sister in Uppsala, Sweden.

As a child Viktor was a noisy little lost kid and was already in his first year of elementary school expelled. He was diagnosed with ADHD and it was only in High School he was allowed to return to a regular school.
Viktor was reassigned many times during his school attendance and this, together with some other factors have meant that he had been sidetracked in life, including an active amphetamine addiction. However, Viktor is totally clean today but it has obviously left its mark and is also something that has shaped his music.
Music interest began in his early teens. He found hip hop immediately by Eminem, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and many others. Viktor works as so, if he finds something he likes he wants to work on it immediately, preferably yesterday. Before the music came into his life he also dreamed about directing movies, writing scripts and so on.

-I think I was 10-11 years old when I sat and sketched ideas for different projects, sometimes I think I have some delusions of grandeur when it comes to what is actually possible to implement. I have always been burning for development and creativity.

"The Lab" album is a record Viktor has been working on since end of 2008 and the purpose of it was to take his productions to a new level and across the Atlantic to the United States. He managed to put together a solid list of artists such as D-12, Saigon, Sean Price, Stat Quo and King Magnetic. The Swedish rapper Lazeealso got a spot on it, artists Viktor himself always listened to so it was jackpot.

-I wanted to put a whole album together where I choose all the tracks and primarily with american artists, because I mainly listen to american rap myself. I wanted to spread a message at the same time as Im telling a story, about how a young kid get trapped in a drug addiction and falling deeper but also how he finds a solution and a way out of it.

The lyrics are of course written by the artists themselves, but with some guidance on the theme that you can also follow in the story being told between the songs which was written by Viktor himself.

- I describe the sound and mood as horror movie music mixed with disney sounds in hip hop form. That was my goal. I love music that sounds twisted but not too twisted.
