Vinati Makijany is an accomplished theatre performer who hails from a film family. She's worked with reputable groups like IPTA, Gillo and QTP.

A 26 year old biotechnology graduate, Vinati always had an inclination for the performing arts.

Stageplays written, directed and performed by her have won several awards, including an award for ‘Excellence in the field of Dramatics’, upon her graduation.

She's a trained Bharat Natyam dancer and has attended intensive workshops at the Adishakti Laboratory in Pondicherry.

Her short film, ‘The Corner Table’ played at International Film Festivals including Cannes Short Film Corner and North Carolina Film Festival where she won Best Actor.

In 2015, Vinati was selected to represent India at the prestigious ASSITEJ program for Youth Theatre in Tokyo and Washington DC.
