Vinayaka Ram V

This is Dr. V Vinayaka Ram from Chennai. I have been in teaching profession since 1992. After completing my Ph.D from REC Warangal (Now known as NIT, Warangal), I taught at NIT, Warangal (for a period of 12 years) followed by Engineering Staff College of India, Hyderabad (for a period of 1.5 years). Later, I continued my teaching career at BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus and currently I am working as a full Professor in the department of Civil Engineering at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. My specialisation is Highway / Transportation Engineering and my primary focus on research has been materials and their characterisation for both highways and buildings.
