Vinay Rama

A native of India, Vinay Rama began his distinguished career in the hospitality industry in 1999 as a housekeeper at a Holiday Inn in Pune, India. Over the next several years, he held several positions at the hotel, including kitchen assistant and housekeeping supervisor, a role in which he managed more than 20 members of the housekeeping staff. In 2001, Vinay Rama moved to the United States to study hospitality management at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.

While completing his bachelor’s degree at Cornell, Vinay Rama gained diverse hospitality experience through positions with companies such as Courtyard by Marriott, Westin Poinsett Hotel, and Rosen Hotels and Resorts. After graduating, he accepted a position as an Associate with Hodges Ward Elliott in Atlanta, Georgia. There, he worked with the highly ranked hotel-brokering team of Mark Elliott to coordinate more than $3.4 billion in hospitality transactions.

Vinay Rama draws upon this experience in his current position as founder and CEO of Mandala Holdings LLC, a hospitality investment and real estate development company in Florida.
