I've followed an interesting career path beginning with a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Hotel Food Administration. I've been a restaurant manager, worked as an operations analyst with a World's Fair organization and as a strategic planning analyst with a multi-unit restaurant group. While engaged in a series of entrepreneurial pursuits I discovered a passion for graphic design.

With over 30 years of freelance graphic design and print production experience, I've been exploring and learning about photography, with a special interest in using images to tell stories, particularly of fine food and drink.

I'm based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and have studied with Vancouver Photo Workshops and The Photography Institute.
