Vincent Lam

My name is Vincent Lam. I am currently a student in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachuetts Amherst! One of the things that influence me the most when outside of school would be electronic music. Despite it being one genre, the possibilities within this category are endless. On my free time, I will either have my headphones on or looking into something that is music related. The way each producer has their own unique characteristic always amazing me by how intricate a song can be with its layers upon layers of beats. One of my biggest influencers would be Porter Robinson (my wallpaper). Despite there being huge competetion in the industry when it comes to producting, he still finds ways to innovate the scene with his unique sound which I am a huge fan of. Because of him, I have even tried to get into music producation as well despite its steep learning curve.

When it comes to electronic music, good producers are usually underestimated when it comes to skill which annoys me. Some people don't even consider electronic music as "real" music. This baffles me because they don't understand the time and skill it takes to make a solid song. My goal one day is to gain the skill to be able to produce a top-tier song.
