“A journey, no matter how slow, will eventually reach it's end”. I am John Vincent Chaves, once a student of UST now a teacher myself. Full of passion and EXTREME perseverance, I have spent well over 10 years of my life playing the guitar and have been sharing my experiences as a guitarist. With my welcoming and calm demeanor, if you decide to become a student of mine you will be in good hands.

Started in 2014, I have been interested in the guitar and started playing. One problem, however, I was very, and I mean VERY, stagnant in terms of improvement. It wasn't until 2021 when I finally showed signs of getting better at it. Over time it became more apparent. And now here I am, teaching to guitars to others as well.

My experience in learning is what drives me to become who I am today and so does my goals. Learning music is not something one can learn in just a day or two. It takes time. So don't be discouraged when you don't show any improvements at all in your first year.
