Vincent Eggen

Belgian, born in 1971, Vincent Eggen is graduated as a Master in Computer Sciences. He started as a technology and development consultant for a couple of Luxembourg based service companies, where he actively contributed to multiple new technologies projects, including some of the very first internet private banking applications created from Luxembourg.
In 2000, he joined Odyssey Financial Technologies (now part of the Temenos Group), one of the leading software vendor in Private Banking and Wealth/Asset Management sofware solutions as Development Manager. He lead the development of multiple application modules adjacent to the portfolio management solutions, in area like Customer Reporting and Customer Data Management. As Program Manager of the strategic Process Improvement program, he lead the Agile transformation and industrialization of the entire R&D Department (150+ engineers and analysts) across multiple locations (Luxembourg, Bruxelles, Lausanne and Bangalore).
In 2009, he becomes Development Director of CHAMP Cargosystems with the mission to implement a global industrialized software factory serving the fast growing demand the company is facing. He is currently in charge of the Product Development Department, managing 110+ software engineers over 5 locations (Luxembourg, London, Zurich, Singapore and Manila) serving more than 150 different air cargo industry actors with a feature rich software portfolio.
Since 2016, Vincent is Managing Director of Pictet Technologies, the brand new and fast-growing financial technologies start-up, proudly contributing to the success of the prestigious Pictet Group, one of the premier independent asset manager in Europe.
Vincent is an occasional speaker on software engineering practices and on Agile on-shore/off-shore transformation strategies (Valtech days, Agile Interest Group in Luxembourg,...).
