I am Vincent Kalema an entrepreneur and business graduate, I have over 8 years experience in entrepreneurship, business administration, and management. Driven by entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, and I am devising strategies on how these can be used to improve the lives of Ugandans, especially farmers. I discovered my passion for eggs in 2014 as they had become an essential part of my diet as I tried to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It is true that eggs are part of every individual's diet with the average global egg consumption being 161 eggs/year per person, although there is a need to increase it to 365 eggs/year per person. I believe that every child, youth, and adult should have an egg in their daily diet so as to meet their nutritional needs and keep healthy.

I have been engaged in several talk shows promoting mechanized poultry farming and the use of proper equipment to ensure that Ugandan farmers embrace better farming methods and get better yields.

I am the proprietor and founder of Vikale farming Equipment Limited https://vikale.ug/ whose mission is to increase farming profitability through mechanization. Our services include planning, designing, building, equipping, managing, and maintenance of modern commercial poultry farms. While at it, we have managed to diversify into rabbit and piggery, grain-silos for storage and feed mills. Due to our contribution to the agricultural value chain, we have attracted partners like GIZ in a bid to increase the participation of youths in mechanized farming.
