Vincent D. LiBrizzi, MBA
Charlotte, North Carolina
I am a sales professional with 20 years of experience in the health care industry. I was born in April, 1970 in Newark, NJ and grew up in suburban Livingston, New Jersey, close to the New York Metro area. I graduated from Livingston High School in June, 1988. I attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and earned my B.S. in Marketing from the School of Business in May, 1992. I accepted an offer to work for Eli Lilly & Company selling pharmaceuticals in Atlantic City, NJ, the day before I graduated from Rutgers. After two and a half successful years at Lilly, I went back to school full time and earned my MBA at Rutgers University Graduate School of Management in January 1997. I then took a sales position with Bristol-Myers Squibb in New York City, which later transferred me and my fiance to Charlotte, NC in November, 1999.
I purchased and built a house in Charlotte in 2000, the same year Jennifer and I were married, on May 20th. Our first daughter, Elissa, was born in October, 2002 and came home from the hospital on Halloween. In late 2004, I accepted a position in medical device sales at Ethicon Women's Health & Urology (formerly Gynecare). I had four very successful years at Ethicon, earning numerous sales awards, Glamour Sales Trips, and introducing new products and surgical procedures to the Gynecologists and Urologists in the Charlotte area. In February 2007, our second daughter Katherine was born, and came home from the hospital on Valentine's Day. In August 2009, I was offered a position with Medtronic's Physio-Control division, promoting the LIFEPAK brand of external defibrillators and other CPR equipment. In November 2011, after 2 1/2 successful years at Physio, my position was eliminated.
On February 27, 2012 I accepted a sales position with CooperSurgical as a Certified Technical Representative, selling medical device systems to gynecologists in the office setting in the NC and SC area. At the end of 2012, my position was eliminated due to a reduction in the CTR sales force. In August 2013, I started a position with the venture capital company InControl Medical, marketing an innovative non invasive device for female incontinence in NC and SC. The product didn't obtain insurance coverage and the company eliminated its sales force in 2014.
I decided I had enough of downsizing in the medical sales field, so I changed career paths and joined Ryland Homes as a Sales Associate in February 2015. I studied for and obtained my NC and SC real estate licenses and completed all 90 credits of post licensing requirements to become a full broker in NC. I was involved with over $1 million in sales at Ryland and then it was announced they were merging with Standard Pacific Homes to form CalAtlantic Homes. Before waiting to see if I was to be downsized again, I decided to move on and become a Realtor at Coldwell Banker in July 2015. In October 2015, I was asked to join a very successful sales team at Keller Williams Realty Ballantyne and accepted. I am currently working with several clients to help them buy or sell property and homes in the Charlotte area.
Outside of my career and family life, I have a strong interest in railroads and trains, having worked at museums and short line railroads for over 25 years. I am a Qualified Conductor, Brakeman, Fireman, and Engineer.
