To me I would personally say my life has primarily been outdoors or participating in an activity outdoors. From sports to hanging out with friends I couldn't get enough of it. I was a fairly active kid and didn't seem to enjoy the indoors or playing videogames all day which is still true to this day. From my youth till this very day, there have been many different aspects of my life that have shaped who I am as a person. From wrestling since I could stand, to playing soccer and basketball throughout highschool, I’d say I stayed very active. However, surprisingly being a Boy Scout stood out the most when describing me fully.

Being a middle child, my older brother was the first boy scout of the family and ever since I joined I couldn’t say I haven't enjoyed every moment. From scuba diving in the Galapagos Islands to skiing on frozen lakes in Minnesota, I’ve had many impactful memories that have taught me so much. Not only did scouting teach me useful skills it also gave me incredible morals and I’ve met some incredible people. However, after my time as a Boyscout, it came time to decide my future and what I wanted to do. I had to choose whether to continue my wrestling career in college or continue my passion for the outdoors and continue my academic career at the University of Georgia. Honestly the choice was easy… cutting weight in college sounds like a nightmare. So I decided that although my scouting times were behind me, it didn't mean my passion for the outdoors was.
