Highly motivated connector, tech savvy, award winning research-practitioner with ten years’ experience of developing innovative projects across temperate and tropical climates. Fundamental to building my achievements, both inside and outside of theuniversity is an entrepreneurial spirit and an extensive international business and research network. Co-producingprogramme’s and developing action led activities is all about people and the ability to develop a “hivemind” of knowledgenetworks across disciplines. My investigative focus uses resilience methodologies to create integrated alternative urbansystems, forming new techniques with novel interconnectivity for decentralised ecological urban infrastructure.

My activities across the arts and sciences has secured over two million pounds of funding collaborating with the People Postcode Lottery, National Lottery, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, UK Technology Strategy Board, UNLTD and Manchester International Festival. These projects have created commissions across the commercial and research landscape partnering with industry leaders such as Siemens, BDP Architects, Glass Solutions, WYG Global Consultancy, Bruntwood. Manchester University, Belfast Queens University and Salford University.
