Vinod Agrahari is a freelance Communication Specialistwith over two decades of experience across television news, government communication, and digital media, having international exposure.
His journey began in the newsroom as Principal Correspondent with Zee News, where he handled reporting, live bulletins, interviews, and special programming—developing a strong editorial instinct and on-ground understanding of news.
Over the years, his career expanded into strategic communication roles within the Government of India, including leadership positions at GST Network and the Ministry of Rural Development. Here, he worked on large-scale communication strategies, media management, and public engagement, contributing to initiatives that reached audiences across the country.
A key strength Vinod brings is his ability to bridge journalism and policy communication. He understands both how news is created in a newsroom and how narratives are shaped within institutions—making his perspective both practical and impactful.
His recent Europe engagements further add to his profile. He conducted an interview with the President of Iceland, first by any Indian, engaging on leadership and global issues, and was invited to address a gathering at the Norway Embassy, Oslo. These experiences reflect his growing international exposure and ability to engage across cultures and platforms.
Earlier, he was also selected as a South Asian Journalist by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), participating in a regional workshop in Colombo—adding to his understanding of global development communication and international media perspectives.
