Born in Scotland, raised in Ireland, converted to wine in England and now settled in Italy.

I feel lucky being able to pursue a career that I am passionate about and ever so slightly obsessed with! The past 25 years has allowed me to work with many of the world's greatest winemakers and visit the world's best wine producing regions. From Coonawarra to the Cape, Marlborough to Meursailt, Rioja to the Rhone, the multiple pleasures of wine, food and travel are, for me, impossible to beat?

Now, Italy. I live in a beautiful valley surrounded by vines. I teach students, professional and amateur, about wine in partnership with wine schools in Italy and southern Europe.
