Vinson DiSanto

Dr. Vinson DiSanto is a Doctor of Osteopathy and Doctor of Acupuncture who also holds an advanced degree in Oriental medicine. Dr. DiSanto currently applies his skills as the Medical Director of Spectrum Services, a practice based in Miami, Florida.

Dr. DiSanto embarked on his professional career in 1986 after graduating from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), a prestigious academic institution founded more than a century ago. Following the completion of his D.O. at PCOM, Dr. DiSanto engaged in an internship at Phoenix General Hospital, honing his clinical capabilities as a practitioner of allopathic medicine. To expand his knowledge of integrative healing techniques, Dr. DiSanto subsequently applied to the Open International University for Complimentary Medicine, gaining acceptance into the school's international study program in 1988. He spent the next four years in Sri Lanka and the United States acquiring a comprehensive understanding of occupational and environmental medicine, Ayurveda, sonopuncture and laser therapy, acupuncture, and homeopathy.

Earning distinction as a Diplomat of the National Board of Osteopathic Examiners in 1992, Dr. Vinson DiSanto leveraged his educational background to care for patients in an emergency room setting as a lead physician at four hospitals in Northern California. In 1993, the Federal Bureau of Prisons selected Dr. DiSanto to serve as the agency's Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Director, a role to which he devoted himself until 1997. Before assuming his directorship post at Spectrum Services in 2007, Dr. DiSanto further bolstered his professional resume through his work with Worldwide Medical, Vista Staffing Solutions, and Concentra Medical Centers.

Dr. Vinson DiSanto has amassed numerous accolades and distinctions for his achievements over the past 25 years. The recipient of Phoenix General Hospital's Golden Heart Award, he also garnered recognition for his "Outstanding Examinations" in clinical therapeutics from the International Open University for Complimentary Medicine, and was chosen as one of the Federal Bureau of Prison's Rising Young Americans. Strongly committed to remaining abreast of the most recent advancements in his field, Dr. Vinson DiSanto regularly participates in a wide variety of continuing education classes and medical conferences.
