Vinyl fabric: the latest trend?

Fashion trends change every year, every season and well, every time Rihanna shows up in some creative design. There is almost nothing that is unacceptable in fashion so while there are cool and simple fashion trends, we also have outrageous and daring trends. One particular daring trend is the plastic/Vinyl fabric trend. This fashion style has been around since the 1960s but keeps popping back in vogue every few years (just like many other trends). 2019 has seen various trends and styles, such as the latest bike pants with blazers that all and sundry seems to be rocking, but how much attention in the present vogue is vinyl fabric getting.

The runway is the most apparent place to tell the current trend or to at least predict what is to come. If the 2019 spring runways were anything to go by, from the gorgeous mustard yellow vinyl dress on Kaia Gerber in Marc Jacob’s spring collection to the creative styles of headgear in the Maison Margiel’s spring collection, vinyl is in vogue and designers are exploiting its different forms.
