Violet Riot is an American musician/singer and a self-proclaimed third-wave feminist.
She is best known for being the bassist/vocalist for the foxcore/punk band Destitute. Destitute played several shows, gained international recognition and released an EP on Unrepentant Records before officially going on hiatus in 2010.
Violet currently resides in Portland, where she attends Portland State University as a psychology major. She is also the bass guitarist for Tonya's Disorder, a Gretel (grunge/metal) band fronted by Tonya Woodland. Violet is exploring a synthpunk based solo project and is looking forward to collaborating with CiCi Addams from Sassy in the near future. ♥
