I was born to Christian parents in Egypt. They worked very hard raising 5 children and thinking about the Land of Opportunity, America. They sold everything and waited one year for their Visa to travel. Our new American family from my uncles church welcomed us with open arms. They helped us find work, practiced English with us and prayed for us. My parents worked 2 jobs often and when asked if they wanted to sign up for food stamps, they replied "what is this food stamp?" Upon knowing they said, "no thank you, we will work for our food". I believe these farmers in Africa want the dignity of working for their food. We will come along side them and help them to help themselves, they want to till, plant, feed and harvest their crops. It's time for us to pass the blessing along and extend this hand of love.
