Virquan Harold

Virquan "Tony" Harold is currently a student at Virginia Polytechnic and State Institution pursing a double-major in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Consumer Studies - Resources Management & Financial Counseling. His passion for knowledge and inspiration goes far beyond his textbooks as he is an active research colleague in academia, involved in a few startup companies, and involved in a diverse array of organizations.

Virquan is an avid believer in entrepreneurship. He believes it creates an energy and sense of purpose that goes unmatched by anything else. From his first entrepreneurial idea of selling left over candy canes after the Christmas holiday to other kids at his daycare at the age of 6, Virquan has always centered his ideas around people. It is no wonder he is pursing a degree in Consumer Studies as he has been observing and studying consumers for over 15 years.

Being known as the kid with the biggest smile, Virquan has always been a "people person" enjoying the diverse backgrounds, knowledge, passions, and experiences people share every single day. He can be found pursuing ideas and passions, meeting and making new friends, and making it happen.
