Vishal Asrani
Vishal Asrani started out as a technology enthusiast and an aspiring musician himself, first by learning computer builds and drums at home. Vishal’s technological foundations were strengthened in his early ages as he watched his father work on electronics such as T.Vs, Cassette Players, Computers, etc. While growing up he also found a keen interest in music. In year 2006, he decided to learn drums as his first instrument at his middle school and later developing to him being a songwriter. Further down the road, Vishal found himself combining the two aspects as computer music technology. It was when he was introduced to a local studio owner and given the chance of loitering around during recording sessions; his passion for music technology was confirmed.
In the year 2010, Vishal decided to educate himself in the United States. Living in a small town near Seattle, he gained valuable experience. While working freelance with local artists and musicians, Vishal also volunteered at a student radio station as a weekly Host/Radio Jockey, familiarizing him with the workings of a radio station. He was also employed as ‘Digital Media Center Tech’ at his university, where he gained real world experience on providing customer support and archiving.
In the interest of time, Vishal decided to transfer to a Full Sail University with an aim to further pursue and explore his passion. He had a great education on Recording Arts B.Sc. from various perspectives of music, games and movies. During his education he had started volunteering at the school’s ‘Show Production Club’ where, going out of his comfort zone, he learned about working live events and presentations. He volunteered as Front of House/Broadcast Assist, Camera Operator, Technical Director, etc for shows like World Wrestling Entertainment NXT, Florida Gators Boosters meet, Orlando Business Journal Awards, Orange County State Of the County Address, and other major Full Sail University productions.
Today, Vishal has done over a 10 major shows with WWE, over 200 hours of volunteer experience at Show Production club, a post production internship with Orlando City Soccer Team, hosted a weekly radio show and much more. Now he plans to pursue a successful career in live shows and broadcasting.
