I'm currently the the Co-founder of Heritage International Xperiential Schools (www.hixs.org). In my previous role, I was on the board of The Heritage group of schools and was responsible for strategic projects for the group, including new campus initiatives, curriculum development, instructional leadership, continuous school improvement, and technology integration. I have also cofounded and led startup school teams for setting up new campuses, including a top ranked international school, two CBSE schools, and an early years school. In my prior roles with Heritage, I have been a head of school, grade IX economics teacher, and a trekking instructor. A proponent of experiential learning, I have visited over 65+ experiential and deeper learning schools worldwide. Among my other administrative responsibilities, I'm keenly interested in building professional learning communities, instructional leadership, cognitive neuroscience, education technology, leadership coaching, authentic assessments, and 'deeper learning' curriculum. In my past life, I was a management consultant and have worked with organizations like Accenture, Right Management in the areas of leadership development, organization change management, learning design, and have delivered projects in India, the USA, South East Asia, and Europe. My articles on education, school leadership, and cognitive neuroscience have appeared in newspapers and magazines including The Hindu, TOI, Financial Express, Business World, The Quint etc. An alumnus of Harvard Univerity, I also serve as an advisor and faculty to education NGOs, including I am a Teacher Institute for Teacher Development. Im the founder trustee of the Centre for Conscious Parenting - a parent collective to promote mindful parenting practices. I'm a practitioner of Yoga and Vedanta, and I believe that my work is a medium to reach my deeper self. I'm an avid motorbiker and along with my yoga mat, have motorbiked across 15+ countries (and counting). I'm also a proud father of a beautiful daughter who has Down Syndrome.
