Vishwarup Mukherjee is a young researcher and author working across Political Science and allied interdisciplinary domains, distinguished as a supercurricular practitioner with a sustained engagement in public life, ideas, and the education sector. He is an Emerging Scholar in Applied Conflict, Multi-Party Negotiation & Dispute Resolution Systems.

He primarily serves as the Founder, CEO & Managing Director of White Brick Forum, an independent inter-professional think tank.

His academic pursuits extend across multiple research initiatives, alongside the development of a forthcoming manuscript provisionally entitled “Beyond The Canon: Political Theory and the Indic Imagination” He is also the author of “Naxalism in India: Origins, Elements, Evolution & Socio-Political Implications,” a reference-driven research paper published on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN).

Beyond formal research, he is actively engaged within civic and policy-oriented spheres. He volunteers with MyBharat and holds the designation of Change Maker on MyGov, contributing to deliberations concerning governance, youth participation, and contemporary public questions.

In parallel, he writes and edits independently on Substack, whilst also producing educational and commentary-led content across platforms including YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). His participation further extends into global dialogue ecosystems through the World Economic Forum’s online platform, and he contributes socio-political writing as a blogger with Youth Ki Awaaz.
