Hi, I'm Cate. I'm a student and I study Geology.

My main goal in life is to enjoy it, and I want to preserve the planet so that future generations can enjoy their lives, too. The Earth is dope, and I want to see the whole thing. I also really like to learn about astronomy, because the vastness of space makes my own problems in life seem small, but at the same time the miraculousness of human existence makes me want to live with kindness and purpose.

I'm a casual gamer. I like to play World of Warcraft, mainly, and I'm not very good despite the fact that I've been playing since Wrath, but I still have fun. Some other favorites of mine are Stardew Valley, Minecraft, and The Last of Us. My all time favorite nostalgia games are Zelda: The Wind Waker and Donkey Kong Country.

I am a CrossFit athlete. I'm small for the sport but I'm strong for my size and I love to lift weights. Even though CrossFit is my main squeeze, I like to compete in pretty much any fitness event. I've done a sprint triathlon, a handful of half marathons, and several CrossFit/strength competitions.

I'm pretty much every hairstylists nightmare, because I play with my own hair colors a lot. I also do makeup for fun sometimes, as a form of creative expression.

I keep really busy with fitness training, 3 jobs and a full time class schedule, but when I do have a moment to myself, I like to go out for a beer with friends, sit outside in my hammock and read (mainly young adult fiction), or go to the movies.
