Lance Corporal Viteri-Franco was born on November 22, 1985 in Ecuador. He moved to North Carolina at the age of 20, his high-school education was completed in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He graduated from an International High School (Cristobal Colon High School). After graduating from there he moved to the United States of America, He attended to Central Piedmont Community College at Charlotte, where he obtained an Associate’s degree.

He is currently enrolled as a full time student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he will be graduating on May 9th 2014 with a Bachelor Degree in Software Information Systems, with a minor in Mathematics. He enlisted in the Select Marine Corps Reserve in January of 2010, and was assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 451, Charlotte, North Carolina.

After achieving his Associate Degree he obtained a job with Sprint Nextel Wireless. Lance Corporal Viteri-Franco started as a general retail consultant and moved his way up from there to become part of the management team as a supervisor, because of a well versed background in technology and his excellent skills to find customer’s needs and solving problems. He achieved top performer composite score multiple times at his retail store. Lance Corporal Viteri-Franco after obtaining his Bachelor Degree is planning on serving as a commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps. He takes pride in being a people person, and feels that he can excel in helping others.

Lance Corporal Viteri-Franco due to his professional excellence and superior achievement while assigned to Administrative Specialist Course 37-11 he was awarded with a Meritorious Mast. Lance Corporal Viteri-Franco achieved the third place grade point average in his class with an academic average of 97.96%. He has clearly displayed the attitude, ability, and determination to achieve and maintain academic excellence. This remarkable academic achievement is indicative of his self-discipline and superior initiative, and epitomizes the highest standards of professionalism as a Marine.

Lance Corporal Viteri-Franco prides himself in taking initiative and ability to accomplish any task given to him with minimal guidance from his superiors. He has set outstanding examples for others to follow. Lance Corporal Viteri-Franco’s efforts reflected great credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Marine Corps
