Vitor Quaresma
software architect, blockchain specialist, and enterpreneur in Brasília, Brasil
Hello, my name is Vitor Quaresma Silveira de Hollanda Ramos. I was born in 1994 as a Protan Colorblind.
I used to like playing games a lot with my friends when I was a kid, specially MMORPGs. However, didn't have the money to buy the newest games or pay the monthly subscription plans to play them, so most of the times I just watched my friends playing them. By 2005, I got tired of being the one that didn't had the games my friends had so I decided to build my own games, started studying Ruby(RGSS), HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL. Made some games and websites that in the end only family and friends used.
By 2010 I entered a Computer Graphics course to learn to make prettier games, learned many things about Adobe, Autodesk and look alike things of design but turned out design wasn't really my thing and focused on programming.
At 2011 started a 5 year Computer Engineering course in University of Brasilia. Learned a lot of Computer Algorithms, Programming, many other programming languages, high level, low level, machine level, robotics and electronic circuits.
At 2014, started working in Cabal Brasil working with the development and architecture of batch, apis and web applications for financial services.
Graduated in 2015 with Honors making a final article in Computer Vision using Eulerian Video Magnification to train neural network to classify human emotions using videos.
In 2016, started working with Mobile on Cabal Brasil, developing APIs and native(Java and Swift) mobile applications, assumed the technical leadership of their development team. In August of 2016 heard about Ethereum, got fascinated with it, studied a lot and started making my smart contracts for personal projects. In late 2016, started investing in cryptocurrencies as well.
In 2017, heard of React Native, started studying it, studied ReactJs along with and realized how it cool it was to put NodeJS together with it and make it full stack, decided to use them for my new projects. Started to be more active in the blockchain community, learned about Hyperledger, studied out, found it hard to install every time so learned Docker to configure it
In 2018 quit my job to open my own company where I develop mobile and web apps fullstacking on JS, study about blockchain and software architecture in my post graduation course and can innovate and help the world the way I want.
