Vivek Shah is a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 2007 and a Chartered Accountant (India) since 2002 he has worked at MBAF(now part of BDO USA, LLP) for nearly 15 years and has 20 years of industry experience working with mid-to-large size organizations based in North America and Canada.

In his duration with Initor Global, Vivek spearheaded the US tax division and bookkeeping division and grew the size to over 120 skilled tax preparers and bookkeepers. He ensures key insight into the tax processes and streamlining systems which gave him enough confidence to pursue his entrepreneurial spirit and founded Smart Accountants, which is a full-service accounting solution and business advisory firm. They have a team of experienced CPAs providing a range of services, including tax preparation and planning, accounting and bookkeeping services, business valuation, and financial statement preparation and compilation. They also specialize in international taxation, Expat taxation, payroll filing, sales tax filing, and attestation services.
