Vivian Giang
Vivian Giang is a journalist, graduate student, and blogger based in New York City. She maintains a food blog, Grublicious, which focuses on quick and inexpensive dishes. She also runs The Buzz on the Bizz, a blog that covers the ins and outs of the entertainment industry, as well as technology and other points of interest. Vivian Giang attends New York University (NYU), where she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in economic and business reporting. Prior to engaging graduate work at NYU, Giang obtained a Bachelor’s in Journalism from The University of Georgia in Athens. As an undergraduate, she took courses in English and public relations, and worked with the student paper, The Red and Black, covering major news events such as the slaying of three people in 2009 and First Amendment rights. Her academic abilities ultimately garnered Giang both the Executive Women’s Scholarship and the HOPE Scholarship. Giang currently writes for the New York City-based news journal Business Insider. Prior to taking on this position, she worked for the premier broadcasting enterprise CBS News, where she assisted with research, writing, editing, and producing investigative pieces. Vivian Giang has also worked in public relations for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. and Magnum D'Or Resources Inc. Giang belongs to both the Asian American Journalists Association and The Public Relations Student Society of America.
