Vicki James
Growing up I played every sport available to females and not available to females (a little football anyone)! I went to Texas Tech University to study biology, physical education and to play intercollegiate tennis. Along the way I changed my major to Business Administration and entered corporate America for 23 years in marketing and finance. In my years in business, I found my health and fitness level decreasing rapidly. I worked way too many hours and did not take care of myself. At 40 years of age my doctor proceeded to tell me if I did not change things, I may not be around too much longer! That is when my new journey of health began. I slowly changed my bad habits, but I found it extremely confusing to know who to believe with so many opinions out there on how to have good health. I had completed my Advanced Personal Trainer Certification, but I was still searching for the right formula. Luckily, a fellow personal trainer referred me to the CHEK Institute in California to learn how he too had found the answer for great health. With my postgraduate work with the CHEK Institute in Corrective Exercise, High-Performance Conditioning, and Holistic Nutrition and Lifestyle, it has led me to a life of great health and an abundance of energy. Just ask any of my clients if I am truly passionate about what I do and you will soon find out that helping people become healthy is truly my legacy.
