Vassilis is a freelancer with a distinguished academic background in Philosophy, Linguistics, International Relations & Strategic Studies. Has contributed to and authored scholarly papers, particularly focusing on ideological studies and the dynamics of EU & US relations. His academic career includes experience as an Assistant Lecturer in European universities.
In addition to his academic pursuits, has garnered considerable experience within European institutions and think tanks, notably within the Brussels Bubble. His expertise encompasses significant national and European political projects. Notably, he served as a communication and digital media associate during the 2015 primaries of the governing party in Greece. On a European scale, he contributed as a campaign associate for the Spitzenkandidat campaigns for the European Commission Presidency in both 2019 and 2024.
Furthermore, has spearheaded the digital campaign for Malta's Main Opposition Party during the National Elections of 2022.
On August 3rd, 2024, during the EDS Electoral Summer University in Malta, has been elected with a majority of 96% as Honorary Chairman of EDS, the Official Student Organisation of the European People's Party (EPP).
