Work closely with Project Manager and Construction Manager in terms of products and services and priorities of materials considering site needs. Stock evaluation and minimum maximum stock definitions. Coordination of transportation of materials to end users. • Managing procurement, transportation and customs clearance of equipment and materials for the construction site on AGIP- KCO oil refinery in Atyrau and offshore drilling islands in Caspian Sea from international suppliers, mainly from Europe, USA, Russia and Turkey. • Local and Overseas market evaluation, development of bidders list. Potential supplier evaluation. • Organization of Logistic activities, partial and dedicated shipment arrangements. Delivery point and collection on point arrangements. Time schedule and tracking evaluation. • Customs activities coordination. Work closely with broker firms that do customs clearance of the goods received from overseas. Local certification of materials for import activities. • Purchasing materials and equipment from such countries as UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, USA, Turkey and etc. The biggest purchasing contract has been handled by me for over 250 000 EUR (wire mesh - A193, BS4483:1998). In comparison with similar wire mesh available locally, I have managed to save 207,000.00 EUR for the company by finding and making contact with Arcelor Mittal (UK).
